Testimonials

“Can it really be this easy?”

“Women, you are amazing.  You move mountains for those in our community needing a hand up, and you do it without breaking a nail.  How do I join? “

“I joined 100 Women Pacific because I see how even one small contribution can ripple outward — connecting people, growing shared purpose, and turning what seemed small into something powerful. Now I’m part of something bigger, something that multiplies impact beyond what I could’ve done on my own.”

The last time I saw a group take home that much money at once, it cost me three months of my life in planning and meetings.  This is so much more fun!

100 Women Pacific

It’s About Impact

100 Women Pacific brings together a group of people with shared interests and values who pool their resources, knowledge, and networks to collectively support a cause chosen by the group. Democratic decision-making, community connections, and pathways for learning and engagement converge to amplify impact and empower our communities.

The power of this model lies in the long-term community that is built, the shared learning among members, and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with local nonprofits on the front lines of need and change where we live.

How It Works:

100 Women Pacific members commit to a donation of $100 (or more), four times a year.

  1. Any member may nominate a non-profit to receive funds in the coming cycle.  Check our calendar for dates when nominations are open.

  2. Our Advisory Group screens incoming applications to ensure each meets eligibility requirements.  Then, using our shared vision and values, they discuss and sort until they have chosen a maximum of three nominees for the current cycle.

  3. Members are invited to attend a luncheon to hear from the nominees, who are also invited and told they’ll have an opportunity to give a 5-10 minute presentation.  In it, they are asked to introduce their non-profit and the project funds would be used for, as well as tell members how they may ignite their impact through further engagement.

  4. Following the presentations, members vote to select the day’s recipient of funds.

  5. Each member then gives $100 (or more) to the representative of the chosen organization. Funds may be given in cash, check, or credit card. The recipient organization representative should be ready to receive funds and provide tax receipts. Providing literature to further engagement is appreciated!
