About Us
100 women –Pacific
This is us.
Our Mission
100 Women –Pacific offers a simple way to raise significant funds: Using a Giving Circle model, we bring people together to support local causes they believe in and create a bigger impact than they could on their own.
100 Women Pacific Today
The 100 Women Pacific organization is a growing community of women, along with their friends and families, committed to improving the lives of the disadvantaged or underserved people of Pacific County, Washington.
- We encourage our members to take a more active role in local philanthropy.
. - We learn how to maximize the impact of our efforts.
. - We raise awareness of many worthwhile charitable opportunities within our community.
. - We believe we can join together to make a significant impact in the lives of those in need.
. - Our members give directly to non-profits, which offer tax receipts, and not to 100 Women Pacific.
Women Only?
100 Women Pacific is named in honor of the women’s groups who brought this concept to us and inspired our giving in this way. Don’t let our name fool you; our group includes people of all ages, regardless of how they identify their gender. Our demographic might best be described as “people who enjoy the company of women”
Our History
After being involved with literally dozens of non-profit organizations in Pacific County, Washington, Nancy McAllister was frustrated. She made donations that added up on her end, yet to each organization, her impact was minimal.
After learning about 100 Women Clatsop (County, Oregon), Nancy founded 100 Women Pacific (County, Washington) in the fall of 2025 with a very simple concept: recruit 100 women to give $100 (or more) four times annually. By co-selecting one local non-profit to receive everyone’s donations each quarter, the dollars donated make a greater impact.
It didn’t take long to recruit the initial advisory board. Nancy knew quite a few women with extensive fundraising experience who shared her frustration regarding the time and energy they devoted to raising money. The Giving Circle model allowed participants to combine their financial resources with a minimal time commitment and create an impact for one non-profit at a time.
How We Work

Commit
100 Women Pacific members commit to a donation of $100 (or more), three times a year.

Nominate
Any member may nominate a non-profit to receive funds in the coming cycle. Check our calendar for dates when nominations are open.

Nominees Chosen
Our Advisory Team screens incoming applications to ensure each meets eligibility requirements. Then, using our shared vision and values, they discuss and sort until they have chosen a maximum of three nominees for the current cycle.

Attend
Members are invited to attend an event to hear from the nominees, who are also invited and told they’ll have an opportunity to give a 3-5 minute presentation, followed by up to 5 minutes for Q&A. They are asked to introduce their non-profit and tell members how they may ignite their impact through further engagement.

Vote
Following the presentations, members vote to select the day’s recipient of funds.

Give
Each member then gives $100 (or more) to the representative of the chosen organization. Funds may be given in cash, check, or credit card. The recipient organization representative should be ready to receive funds and provide tax receipts. Providing literature to further engagement is appreciated!

Engage
Members are encouraged to further engage with the non-profits. If you aren’t sure how, ask their representative at the event, or get in touch afterward. Our impact expands dramaically when we give our time and talent in addition to treasure.
